Twin Love Part II

The Twins are 23 Weeks and 2 Days Old

Sometimes at night, I lie in bed and fantasize about snuggling with my cuddly cream puff J-Man. I picture him curled up next to me, looking up to his mom, and softly telling him bed time stories under the covers, as if the bed is our campground and the covers are our tent. He grins and his cheeks expand as he listens intently to all of the things that I have to say and teach him. I tell him how lucky he is to have such a wonderful brother and doting father. I kiss him good night and reach over to the kiss G-Dawg goodnight as he snuggles with Hubby.

I guess that I’m idealist. Or perhaps I’m just sentimental. I love everything about these boys and as they get closer to reaching some significant milestones (I swear that J-Man is going to be able to sit up any day now), I need to add to the list of why I adore them so much.

  1. I love it when G-Dawg gets excited and his smile is so wide that you can see the insides of his mouth
  2. I love it when the boys giggle and their body shakes
  3. I love it when G-Dawg enjoys his butternut squash and smiles when you put the spoon in his mouth, revealing the chunk of food stuck to the roof of his mouth
  4. I love it when the boys smile at me when they first wake up in the morning
  5. I love it when G-Dawg is crying and is distracted by his favorite toys or my beat boxing and the funny sounds that I make
  6. I love it when I’m giving the babies a massage before bed and they fart when they’re on their tummies
  7. I love little baby buttocks
  8. I love when I hold J-Man close to me and get big baby hugs
  9. I love how cute G-Dawg looks when he sneezes
  10. I love it when G-Dawg grasps at the burp cloth and brings it to his mouth
  11. I love how G-Dawg tries to fit his fists into his mouth
  12. I love it when the boys sleep at the same time
  13. I love it when the boys look at each other
  14. I love it when the boys looking up at my innocently after taking a big poop (although I’m not fond of the poop part)
  15. I love dressing the boys up
  16. I love it when they fall asleep in my arms
  17. I love giving the boys raspberries
  18. I love it when G-Dawg lets out little random burps when I put him on my shoulder and pat him on the back
  19. I love watching the boys discover their hands and play and chew on them as if they’re new toys
  20. I love when J-Man looks up at me when he's falling asleep in my arms
  21. I love it that the boys are enamored by rattles and mobiles and try to put toys in their mouths that are way to big to fit in them
  22. I love it when J-Man smiles when I try to get him to sit up on his own

Those morning smiles are the best! It makes getting up so early a little easier. Love the list. :)

It does!! I know that I'll have more to add soon. Perhaps there needs to be a part III? :)
